Eugenie Guetraud

Eugenie is a woman of nature and plants. She is a herborist, a profession she said that was occupied by women for generations. All her knowledge comes from women she met on her path. After living for years in her camping car in France , she came to Brussels to study plants and found a home , for a while, in a squat in Laeken, of the wonderful collective Le Clef . There she has a garden that she cultivates together with her partner. Le clef community is a place to exit the city into another landscape of sharing, recycling, nature and creativity. Eugenie uses the plants from the garden for her medicinal products. She has an atelier where she makes creams, soups, teas, oils and other products. She often uses the plants millepertuis that is good for the skin and has a red color and Chanvre that has many qualities and gives a green color. She likes to make products that are useful and beautiful at the same time .
